Robotics Exhibit: Build-Program-Operate

LVD is the first private school in Eastern Visayas to employ Techno Kids Computer Curriculum Technology Enhancement.

In an interview, Mr. Harris Jay Hubilla, a computer teacher, shared, “The planning officers from Dep-Ed were eager to look into the robotics program that we have. They were curious about the plans because we want to solidify our robotics program here at school.”

Selected senior high school students organized multiple robot displays, which featured many types. They also completed tasks including building the robot models, implementing programming, and creating a working robot.

“As you can see, waray ito hiya ha card, it’s not appearing kay naka-integrate hiya ha e-tech, but if they allow us, the robotics subject will be there in the cards na. Magiging stand-alone na hiya, that’s why bumisita an DepEd to ensure that we are capable and prepared for a certain robotics subject," Mr. Hubilla added.

The purpose of the visit is to ensure that the school has the capability, kits, computers, and everything else that is needed for robotics subject.
